Thank you for participating in the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association 1st Ever Virtual Conference. We have seen many challenges during 2020, but the ISA is making sure that we continue to move forward. The ISA is dedicated to making sure our Sheriffs and their employees continue to received services in the areas of Training and Education.
The ISA will continue to make sure that the Indiana Sheriffs know even during a Pandemic that our Priority is to “Protect the Office of Sheriff.” The ISA has been challenged in many ways this year. We were successful in transitioning into a new office between May and June of this year while maintaining a successful outreach to all of our members and new members.
The ISA takes pride in making sure that we constantly are engaged not only with the Sheriff Offices, but our Vendors who invest into the ISA. Investment is an important part of success in making sure there are deliverables.
Having to cancel the ISA Annual Conference twice this year due to the COVID-19 Emergency was not expected. Therefore, the ISA has an obligation to our ISA Members to make sure Training and Education can be still delivered.
As soon as we knew of the second cancellation the ISA began immediately working with Dr. Mitch Javidi, PHD., Chancellor – National Command & Staff College, and CEO & President, International Academy of Public Safety. Dr. Javidi and ISA have a long-time professional relationship in Training and Education for Indiana Sheriffs.
The ISA is proud to announce that all of our hard work in such a short time produced the 1st Ever ISA Virtual Training and Educational Conference. Additional dedication from the ISA Staff helped to produce the 1st Ever ISA Virtual Trade Show.
In closing, there are many people who need to be thanked for their hard work: ISA Staff Members: Laura Vest, Lauren Brune, Bill Wilson, Lynne Dean, and Anngela Brown. I would also like to thank Dr. Mitch Javidi and his staff. The ISA would finally like to thank 2020 ISA President Sheriff David Reynolds of Porter County and his leadership and support in making this transition.
Building Communities of Trust,
